Helmet and Sunglasses What's the Connection

Toddlers Success Lessons

Seeing my son in his helmet and sunglasses all ready to play, triggered a thought. As I’m sure you all heard that the most pure lessons that can be learnt are from a toddler.

For starters, a toddler is motivated and when they want something they don’t give up till they get it.
So here we go, the helmet and the sunglasses are two very important success tools needed.

Let me explain, when a person makes the commitment to succeed in his endeavors, the number one rule is, there are going to be setbacks and obstacles along the way. Whenever the commitment or goal is something that’s worth the effort, for an example changing a bad habit, or taking a step for a bigger business achievement, obstacles and challenges will definitely be your companion along the way. I can even put it to you this way, if there is no challenge during the process, then it can very well be that the change you are committing to making are not relevant or true change for the better.

Now here are two major obstacles that you will very possibly bump in to.

1-    The feeling of loneliness on your journey, discouragement and disapproval from other people.
2-    The feeling of frustration and the wanting to give up.

So here is what’s needed,
A helmet- the helmet is that if you fall while pursuing your dream or whatever goal you are committed to reach, you don’t get hurt and give up but you get up and brush yourself off and continue with more rigorous fervor.

A pair of sunglasses – to darken a bit what’s out there so you shouldn’t see with all clarity all the hurdles ahead of you as well as not to see the discouraging looks from those around you and those close to you.

Just by knowing this information and knowing what you’re up against, will make it a bit easier, since you will understand that these are normal situations that everyone who decides to make changes in their life have to overcome these exact challenges.

Committed to help you succeed
All the best

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Happy FatherMothers Day

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Happy FatherMothers Day

Happy Father’s day, Happy mother’s day these are great days to acknowledge our gratitude to our fathers and mothers that mean so much to us.
Being a son and father as well, the day has begun to have more meaning to me as time goes on. The older I become and I see and understand the challenge’s that our parents faced in order to bring us up properly.

But the obvious is looking me in the eye, I can really relate to having these days honored separately but in all truth the real gratitude starts by the combination of having a father and a mother.

Our coming in to this world can only be achieved with the combination ingredients of a father and a mother and for those of us that we had the privilege to be raised by a father and mother,  we all know and understand the uniqueness that each parent brings to the upbringing and discipline of children.

As I go along the path of life we see a great part of the beauty of the universe is by the blend of natures the father and his sternness and bravery  to a mother with her softness and protectiveness. Ah!  “The beauty of life, Ah! The challenges of life”. We as children are a perfect blend of the qualities of our parents .

The lesson we can take along from this special day, is an important one, one we can use in daily lives, in  almost  every situation in life, be it business relations, be it personal relations, be it in achieving goals, don’t go to the extreme of situations try to stick to the middle, being in the middle is like a special blend of coffee, not the extreme and not the lenient, both are not good on an ongoing basis but the blend is beautiful in the long run.

So here we are again wishing you the best of success.

What Does V.I.P Stand For

Lip Service or V.I.P. Service ?
Greetings everyone

We are all used to the common slang used  by salespeople “we offer great service” and our common reaction is one of doubt and disbelief yeh ! They all say that, they meaning all those that are trying to influence us in buying their service or product.

In reality service, is in truth something that if offered, does add to the value of a company. So let’s break down the word service to a bit more descriptive detail so when offered we can distinguish between the Lip service and the VIP service.

In dictionary.com the definition for service is “an act of helpful activity “When looking in to company that prides itself in service, the following is what I would be looking for.

The 3 basic rules of VIP service;

1.   V= Very courteous service
2.    I= Integrity
3.   P= Prompt attention to customer’s needs

Each of these rules can be discussed in depth for those who would like to give their client base a phenomenal shopping encounter.  The more a company focuses on these 3 rules the more outstanding will the buying experience be.

My intention for this blog post is to take the thoughts, that are constantly flying around in our heads, and to sum them up in an easy way, so you can laser in next time you’re being offered a great service. Can they prove and pass the VIP rule? then go for it and enjoy.

A great way to know if the company or offer you are looking in to, has the VIP criteria is to see referral letters from satisfied customers and if you so desire you can even call a few of the names mentioned in the referral’s.

Another simple way to verify is to ask the person that is offering you the great service one simple question, what does great service mean exactly.

It makes me laugh how many times companies offer great service, but when challenged what they mean, they start choking up and coughing and stammering and repeat well we offer great service.
Only a true VIP service champion will be able to state to you exactly, in terms you can understand, what and how their service will affect you to have great buying experience.

All the best for now if you enjoyed my post, feel free to share it.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Money In The Cemetery

Greetings everyone, (this post short and sweet :-) 450 words)

While visiting the cemetery today for memorial services in honor of my mother in law may she rest in peace, my eyes did the usual wandering around and observed the rows upon rows of tomb stones in memory of those who were buried there.

Looking around and observing, I began thinking the usual thoughts that pop up while visiting a cemetery. When you see all kinds of people from all ages old and young, tall and short, fat and skinny, healthy and sick etc. all of them came to the final destination laying side by side, seeing all this can start a Chain of thoughts, what is truly important in this world while we are here, and can enjoy it, and it can bring thoughts of gratitude as well for all that we have and can still enjoy while we have the gift of life.
But interesting enough the message I observed while being there was about “money “yes money. Seeing the nice tomb stones and knowing the expensive casket’s that people buy all of that equals simple one word “Money”.

I observed the human connection to money is a deep and long lasting one from the moment it breathe its first breath till its last breath money will be its constant companion. Even when life has left its body the human still needs to rely on money to make sure that they will be buried with respect.

A person comes in to the world naked and leaves the world naked but every step of the way the need for money will accompany him.

So maybe just maybe what needs to be remembered is the person’s constant companion and should be acknowledged or at least remembered a bit in his eulogy and on his tombstone.
But, there is one little point to add to this observation, that the amount of how much or how little money the person had is of no importance in a cemetery, where quiet reins and beggar and rich man all lay quiet near each other in harmony.

How they achieved and attained their constant companion, that is of most importance, did he get his money honestly or thru thievery and treachery, and how did he act with his money was it with kindness or humility or with arrogance and stinginess.
I can say this day has been one of finding a deeper meaning of our connection to money and the saying that the color of blood is green, has some truth to it.

So this is it for now, all the best in your journey thru this challenging but beautiful world.
Looking forward to hearing your comments
