Today's blog will be just a short tip about keeping the compacter room a walkable area to a certain degree without any risk of passing out.
Firstly law is law and to those who know and especially to those who don't know, the most common way to my knowledge to keep certain areas in the building with a lingering good scent is the CHERRY DEODORANT BLOCK . We at Advantage Wholesale Supply (http://www.awsupply.com/ ) used to carry the 20lb and the 1.5 lb, it comes in a form of block and has the smell of Cherry it can last even more than a month, and you place it in the compacter room and it neutralizes odors and it keeps a lingering smell of cherry.
But recently in New York this common used item was banned due to health issues since one of the ingredients is (PDCB) Para-dichlorobenzene chlorinated benzene compound.

Just one small issue, for some reason they couldn't get the smell as good as the old cherry block even though that the did recently revise it a bit to smell better, they are still falling short of that good old cherry smell that is the feedback i have been getting.
And since Hale one of my great clients that his commitment to his buildings are phenomenal was complaining that it is not giving that clean scent to the garbage area, we actually found him a different item that is doing the trick its called the Hang Tag Air Refreshener Item #12029 http://tinyurl.com/43czddu it has the mint lingering smell that is doing the job of keeping the compacter room with nice mint odor.
